and true colours workshops

These workshops teach employees to communicate and understand each other better. As an employer you will explore and recognize the strengths of your team, and learn how to determine which employees work better with structure and which do better in a changing environment. Employers and employees will understand eachother better and become a more productive team.

strive program

The Support and Training Resulting In Valued Employment program is a 12-14 week program that provides essential skills, job specific skills, and work experience to assist individuals in gaining employment in three specific streams: Rehabilitation (Disability Services), Pre-Trades, and the Service Industry. If you are an employer in any of these industries, we can help you with your hiring needs as well as meeting any equity legislation requirements you may have.

workplace training program

This program is designed to help employers offset the cost of hiring and training unemployed individuals, by reimbursing the participating employer with a percentage of the training costs. Through this program unemployed Albertans are given an opportunity to obtain employment through direct training and on the job experience.

safety certifications

Community Employment Services is pleased to offer certified courses in Standard First Aid/CPR, AED, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems (WHMIS), and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Clear Language. These courses are priced very competitively and funding assistance may be available.

experience for hire program

Experience for Hire! Integrated Training for Older Workers assists unemployed, underemployed and retired Albertans over the age of 50 to retrain and prepare to return to work in the retail, hospitality/tourism and service sectors. Talk to us about filling your equity legislation requirements.
